Easy Egg Fritters

To Serve : 2 people

Ingredients :

  • Eggs : 2
  • Bengal gram flour : 1/2 cup
  • Red chillie powder : 1 tsp 
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
Method :

  1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes.
  2. Shell the boiled eggs and slice them into thick circles.
  3. Make a batter by mixing bengal gram flour, salt, red chillie powder and water. The batter should be thick enough so that the sliced eggs can be coated and fried. The batter should not be too thick or too thin.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Take the egg slices one by one, coat them in the batter and deep fry.
  6. Serve with tomato ketchup or any other accompaniment of your choice.

Easy Crispy Fried American Corns

To Serve : 4 people

Ingredients :

  • Boiled sweet corn kernels : 1 cup
  • Bengal gram flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
Method :

  1. Boil the sweet corn kernels and drain water from them and leave to dry.
  2. When the sweet corn kernels have dried, add dry bengal gram flour and salt to it and mix well so that the sweet corn kernels are evenly coated. Add bengal gram flour enough for coating all the sweet corn kernels evenly.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the sweet corn kernels.
  4. Drain oil from the fried sweet corn kernels using kitchen towel or tissue paper and serve.

Quick and Easy Nachos

To Serve : 4 people

Ingredients :

  • Corn Wafers or Lays potato wafers(Onion & cheese flavour) : 1 medium pkt
  • Boiled sweet corn kernels : 1 cup
  • Cheese cubes : 3
  • Capsicum : 1/4th
  • Oregano : To add flavour
Method :

  1. Grate the cheese cubes.
  2. Chop the capsicum.
  3. Arrange the wafers on a microwave proof dish.
  4. Arrange the sweet corn kernels and capsicum over the wafers.
  5. Top it up with the grated cheese and microwave it for two minutes.
  6. Sprinkle some oregano and serve.
Note: You can also add some boiled mushrooms, chicken, babycorn as per your taste.
