Ingredients:
Tip : While using butter for frying, mix some oil with butter so that it doesn't burn
Ingredients:
- Eggs : 4
- Refined flour(maida) : 8 Tbsp
- Milk : 1/2 cup or more
- Onion : 1 medium sized
- Geen chillies : 2
- Capsicum : 1/2
- Tomato : 1 small
- Cheese cubes : 2
- Salt to taste
- Oregano(optional)
- Butter : 4 Tbsp
- Chop the onion, green chillies, tomato and capsicum.
- Grate the cheese cubes.
- Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
- Then add a portion of the milk to it.
- Add flour to the above mixture in small portions and stir it with a wooden spoon so that no lumps are formed.
- Keep adding flour in small portions until all the flour has been added to the mixture and stir continously to make sure that no lumps are formed.
- Add more milk to the mixture if at any point of time, the batter is too thick.
- Add the chopped vegetables and salt to the batter.
- The batter should not be too thick or too thin.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in frying pan.
- Add one - fourth of the batter to the pan and spread it slightly.
- Cook until the sides turn crispy golden.
- When the sides turn golden, turn it upside down using a wooden spoon.
- Wait till the other side is cooked.
- Then slide the pancake onto a serving plate and top it up with a portion of grated cheese and oregano.
- Repeat the steps 10 - 15 with the remaining batter.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any accompaniment of your choice.
